Wady Gedroyc is a radiologist who has been actively involved in research in MR guided FUS for the past 15 years at Imperial College, London and has authored many articles in this field on subjects such as fibroid focused ultrasound surgery (FUS), facet FUS, FUS drug activation etc. Professor Gedroyc is currently joint President of the EFUS society, and organiser and president of this year’s European FUS in London.

He was recently PI on a £1.25M EPSRC grant looking at development of new theranostic FUS activated drugs. This project is now progressing to commercialisation and early human trials.
