Professor Robin Cleveland

Biography

Robin Cleveland is a Professor of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford and his research is based at the Biomedical Ultrasound, Biotherapy and Biopharmaceuticals Laboratory (BUBBL) at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering.

Active areas of research include: propagation physics, acoustic cavitation, thermal ablation and mechanical fraction of soft-tissue, drug delivery, shock wave lithotripsy, traumatic brain injury, ultrasound neuro-modulation, and the combination of light and sound for therapy monitoring.

He is a Fellow and past journal editor of the Acoustical Society of America and was a board member of the International Society of Therapeutic Ultrasound.
