After the MSc in Aerospace Engineering and the PhD in BioRobotics on ultrasound thrombolysis, I visited the laboratories of the Institute of Cancer Research working on acoustic characterization of materials for high intensity ultrasound therapy.
Since 2015 I work at NPL in the Ultrasonics Group. I am currently involved in different research projects on ultrasound safety, in-vitro acoustic stimulation of cells, tissue mimicking materials manufacturing and characterization and therapeutic ultrasound.
I am responsible for the hydrophone calibration service and the thermal test objects manufacturing for NPL.
