I have been working in the field of ultrasonic device development since 1999. In that time I have worked on both industrial and medical applications.

The medical products have included LOTUS (Laparoscopic Operation by Torsional Ultrasound) a device for haemostatic surgical procedures, an epidermal imaging system (EPISCAN), ultrasonic therapy devices at both kHz and MHz frequencies.

I was part of a team developing a prototype HIFU system for treatment of tumours in the liver, and we are currently developing a new generation of ultrasonic device for use in the field of bone implant revision.
